So if you found you had one of these, what would you build? - Page 1 - Major Mods - PistonHeads - The image shows two motor oil filters partially disassembled, laying on a rough surface. These filters appear to be heavily worn, with their metallic covers chipped and broken, exposing their internal strainer and pleated paper, which are still visible. The filters have a black, tar-like substance around their circumference, which is excessive and suggests they have been overly filled. The top left filter also has minor holes and broken edges, possibly from previous attempts at removal.
